Purpose of data processing
The personal data provided by the respective Holder at the time of their admission (such as name, surname, identification document, postal address, clinical data and e-mail address, as well as those provided in the future as a result of their development, will be included in a data processing register belonging to Carlos Lencastre - Oriental Chiropractic, for the following purposes:
- Provide, manage, control and maintain the services inherent to their treatments and therapeutic follow-up;
Managing the creation of a unique Client ID within our Management Software and Clinical Records; - Maintaining a direct relationship with the client for promotional and/or statistical purposes (including carrying out profile segmentation to adapt offers and marketing activities to each Client) related to the activities carried out by Carlos Lencastre - Oriental Chiropractic, through conventional and/or electronic means (emails, SMS, purchase receipt...);
- To carry out targeting and profiling work by analysing the use of the services provided, with the aim of adapting offers and marketing activities to each Client, offering personalised products and services;
- To provide the information and services requested, whether on the Internet, by email or by telephone. In addition, emails may provide confirmation that they have been received and read;
- Responding to any incidents that may occur, as well as carrying out satisfaction surveys on the product or service contracted. Contacting the Customer if fraud or identity theft has been detected or if there are reasonable suspicions;
- As the case requires, managing the fulfilment of pecuniary obligations in relation to defaults that may occur on the part of the Client. In this sense, the consultation of files relating to non-compliance with pecuniary obligations may lead Carlos Lencastre - Quiroprática Oriental, as the Service Provider, to take decisions with legal effects or that affect it, and may, as a consequence, prevent the entry into force or suspension of the Treatment(s) or make their validity conditional on the constitution of a payment guarantee. Notwithstanding this, Carlos Lencastre - Chiropractic Oriental will always give the Client the possibility of claiming anything they consider pertinent in order to defend their rights or interests;
- To manage the Client's data as a user of the Website, specifically the data collected in the appointment or contact forms.
Third-party personal data
In the event that the personal data provided belongs to a third party, the Client guarantees that they have informed said third party of this Privacy Policy and that they have obtained their express authorisation to provide their data to Carlos Lencastre - Oriental Chiropractic for the aforementioned purposes. The Client also guarantees that the data provided is accurate and up-to-date, and is liable for any damage or loss, direct or indirect, that may occur as a result of failure to fulfil this obligation.

The personal data provided will be kept for the duration of the clinical relationship and beyond, as long as the interested party does not request its deletion, and will be kept to the strict extent necessary to comply with legal obligations or for the preparation, exercise and defence of claims.

Legitimacy for the processing of data
The legitimacy for the processing of personal data is based on:
- The fact that the Client has provided their personal data in the context of pre-contractual or contractual relations and, as such, its processing is necessary for the maintenance of that relationship;
- The legal obligations applicable to Carlos Lencastre - Oriental Chiropractic which require the processing of personal data for the purposes of the services provided;

Origin of personal information
The personal data processed by Carlos Lencastre - Oriental Chiropractic for the provision of the requested service was provided, to a large extent, directly by the Client during the admission process, such as name, surname, address, contact details, clinical data. The Client is responsible for their accuracy and up-to-dateness.
In addition, Carlos Lencastre - Chiroprática Oriental may obtain information collected via the Internet, as well as through the use of the requested service, such as statistical or browsing data, or, as the case may be, information relating to interests and consumption.
Carlos Lencastre - Quiroprática Oriental will use a Google statistical tracking system, Google Analitycs, to analyse the behaviour of users of its website (www.carloslencastre.pt). No personal data is collected during this process.
